Carefully selected, grapes were harvested manually from the best plots at Herdade da Candeeira. The fermentation occurred in small vats at 25ºC and lasted for 8 days. The clear wine was racked then transferred into a combination of French and American barrels during 7 months.
Ruby colored wine. The aromas suggest wild berries, with hints of vanilla and spices. Silky on the palate, with round and firm tannins. Finishes long and persistent.
