This wine was made to honour an unavoidable person for the Portuguese sovereignty in the XIV century, Nun’Alvares Pereira. The Lisbon wine region has a long and great wine tradition. Its diversity of microclimates allows the winemaker to create top quality wines, recognized national and internationally.

The grapes were carefully selected and totally destemmed. Fermentation occurred in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Then, the wine was racked and transferred into French oak barrels during 4 months.
Deep ruby colour. Red plums and cherry fruit, layered with very well integrated wood spice and vanilla tones. Full bodied and it finishes long, firm and lightly spicy, with impressive purity to the plum and violet fruit.
Our Beato Nuno red, matches perfectly with grilled meats, sauce meats, game birds, game rabbits and semi-mature cheeses.
