Casas Brancas White Wine

History

Alentejo is a great deal of space left over for simple nature, rosemary and lavender. Endless hills, vineyards cork trees and lost villages with white houses - Casas Brancas - make this place unique.

The grapes were picked in the cool hours of the morning, to enhance freshness and primary aromas. Blended and submitted to cold soaking during 24 hours before being pressed, always protected from oxidation. The juice was then clarified and fermented at 16ºC after cold skin maceration.

Tasting Note

Wine with citrus colour, intense orange flower and lime aromas, with some exotic fruit hints. Very well balanced and elegant on the palate, with good acidity. Finishes smooth and long.

Food Suggestions

Our Casas Brancas is an excellent wine for a late afternoon and also quite gourmet. Delicious with freshly shucked oysters or scallop sashimi with tomato.
