Vale dos Pecados Reserve Red Wine

History

Vale dos Pecados means “Valley of Sins” and it represents temptation, the forbidden fruit in a    universe of abundance and pleasures. The apple, like the grapes, are symbols of the story of Adam and Eve, which remained in humanity associated with sin and enticement, but also symbolizes knowledge and wisdom.

WineMaking

The grapes were carefully selected and totally destemmed when arrived at the winery. The fermentation occurred in small stainless steel vats at 25ºC during a week. The wine was then racked and transferred into a combination of French and American barrels during 6 months.

Tasting Note

Dark ruby colour. Red berry aromas with hints of vanilla from oak. Well structured palate balanced with acidity and ripe tannins. Smooth and long finish.
