Alentejo is a great deal of space left over for simple nature, rosemary and lavender. Endless hills, vineyards cork trees and lost villages with white houses - Casas Brancas - make this land unique.
Selected grapes from the better exposed plots. The fermentation occurred in small vats at 25ºC and lasted for 8 days. Aged in French and American barrels during 12 months.
Dark ruby colour. Wild berries aromas with hints of liquorice and vanilla. Full bodied, elegant structured tannins. Great depth and finishes with warm, lingering exotic spices.
Our Casas Brancas is a perfect match for roasted duck with red wine spiced pears and shallots or blue cheese and rocket tagliatelle.
