In this region quite different wine profiles are made, due to the diversity of reliefs and micro climates, in several places of the region. The proximity with the capital, provides an increase of knowledge of these wines with temperate maritime influence, like the bordeaux profile. This wine was fermented in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and partially aged in French oak barrels.
The aromas of ripe red fruits are evident, along with spicy hints. Soft but full-bodied on the palate, finishing long. This is a strong character wine, perfect with red meats, game dishes and cheeses.
This Mula Velha will pair perfectly with grilled steak, Moroccan lamb or Short ribs with mushrooms and spring vegetables.
