Lisbon

The Lisbon region, formerly known as Estremadura, has a long history in Portuguese viticulture. Here, wines with very different characteristics are produced, something that is only possible due to the diversity of land forms and microclimates concentrated in small areas of the region. Conditions for producing quality wines in this region are excellent. Its proximity to the capital has led to knowledge of these wines, which are influenced by a temperate maritime climate, similar to the Bordeaux, becoming more widespread. Many domestic and international experts believe that Lisbon is one of the regions of greatest interest for the future.
