History

Protected by the Serra da Arrabida, sitting on the right bank of the Sado river, the peninsula of Setubal well known by its world famous Moscatel is also where the indigenous Portuguese grape variety, Castelão, finds the perfect spot to express all of its potential.

With total de-stemming and extended maceration. The fermentation occurred at 23ºC in stainless steel vats and lasted for 9 days.

Tasting Note

It reveals aromas of ripe red berries and chocolat hints. Smooth on the palate, rounded tannins, very well-balanced.

Food Suggestions

Great paired with red meat dishes. Serve it at the temperature of 16ºC.
