Castelo do Sulco Red Wine

2014

History

Portugal - a land of old, walled towns and magnificent Templar castles where wines are a complement to the range of charms one can find here.  The Lisbon wine region has a long and great wine tradition. Its diversity of microclimates allows the winemaker to create top quality wines, recognized national and internationally.

WineMaker

Vera Moreira.

WineMaking

The grapes were picked in the cool hours of the morning to enhance freshness and primary aromas. The fruit was destemmed and gently pressed. The must was clarified then transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentation occurred at low temperatures.

Tasting Note

Wine with citrus colour, intense orange flower and lime aromas, with some exotic fruit hints. Very well balanced and elegant on the palate, with good acidity. Finishes smooth and long.
