History

The Douro region extends itself along the Douro river and its effluents, protected from the Atlantic influence by Marão, Alvão and Montemuro hills revealing an unique micro-climate in the world, with dry and hot summers and severe winters.

WineMaking

Selected grapes from the better exposed slopes. After extended maceration, the fermentation    occurred in small stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness at 25ºC during 8 days.

Tasting Note

Deep purple colour. Young profile with red hue with intense ripe red fruit flavours and vanilla hints. It’s a powerful, yet elegant wine that expresses the unique characteristics of this terroir.
