Casa das Gaeiras, in Óbidos, was established in 1790 and has a long and great tradition in the Lisbon wine region. The excellent terroir allows the winemakers to create top quality wines, recognized national and internationally.
After being carefully selected the grapes were totally destemmed and the fermentation occurred in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Then, the wine was racked and transferred into French and American barrels during 12 months.
Deep ruby colour. Ripe red fruits and spicy aromas. On the palate, spice and chocolate with the tannins well rounded providing a balanced tasting. Long and complex finish.
