Alentejo is a great deal of space left over for simple nature, rosemary and lavender. Endless hills, vineyards cork trees and lost villages with white houses - Casas Brancas - make this land unique.
Selected grapes from the better exposed plots were totally destemmed. The fermentation occurred in small vats at 25ºC, during 8 days. The clear wine was racked then transferred into a combination of French and American barrels during 6 months.
Dark ruby colour. Wild berries aromas with hints of liquorice and vanilla. Full bodied, elegant structured tannins. Great depth and finishes with warm, lingering exotic spices.
Our Casas Brancas is a perfect match for lamb stuffed with olives, roasted vegetable and white bean Ratatouille.
