The best grapes were selected from the slopes of Douro. After extended cold maceration during 24 hours, the fermentation occurred in small stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness at 25ºC during 8 days. The wine was oaked for 8 months in French Oak Barrels.
This deep red colored wine reveals fresh and ripe red fruit aroma. characteristics of this terroir. The structure of its soft tannins shows the good ripening of the grapes, which together with its freshness, make this a pleasant and balanced wine.
It is a perfect match with barbeque, game dishes or traditional recipes of cod fish.
