History

The Dão wine region is located in the heart of Portugal. Sometimes likened to Portugal’s Burgundy, not because of any physical similarity but both have a similar wine style. Like red Burgundy, Dão doesn’t rely on power, but instead aims at subtlety and finesse supported by natural acidity given from this terroir.

WineMaking

The grapes were fermented in inox tanks in a controlled temperature around 15ºC until the sugars depletion. After alcoholic fermentation is complete the wine is sulphited and stays in the tank until bottling.

Tasting Note

The citrus colored wine presents clean and elegant aromas, with evident, white fleshed fruits and a sublime minerality. On the palate, the vibrant acidity provides a long finish.
